Trams4U is on an exciting journey, with a focused plan to build high-quality die-cast models of Christchurch trams. We aim to rekindle cherished memories of Christchurch's tram heritage, bring joy to children, and offer models which tram enthusiasts worldwide will proudly own in their collections.
We're thrilled to have partnered with a seasoned project manager, with 15+ years of experience of designing and manufacturing quality die-cast models, and together strive to deliver the highest standards of craftsmanship in our authentic tram replicas.
Our inaugural release is the J.G. Brill Company Box Car No.11, the oldest tram in the Christchurch Tramways fleet. Built in 1903 for the Dunedin's tramway system, this tram celebrated her 120th birthday in 2023 and is today the oldest operating tram in New Zealand. This model is offered in both LIMITED or SELECT Editions.
I'm personally dedicated to showing that retirement can mark the start of an exciting and fulfilling life chapter, that this venture will provide at least a modest financial return and, most importantly, bring joy and invoke happy memories to others.
